More ports of call!Hapag-Lloyd upgrades West Africa services WA1


In May, Hapag-Lloyd established West Africa Service 1 (WA1), opening new port calls in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia.

From September 4, the German operator announced that it will change the frequency of its service to once a week.In addition, Hapag-Lloyd will introduce two additional ports of call and deploy two additional rotational vessels.

"We are pleased to offer Banjul, The Gambia and San Pedro in Ivory Coast as new markets and ports, opening up further opportunities for your freight planning," the Hamburg-based company said in a statement.
