On October 22, a container ship fully loaded with cargo successfully arrived at the Port of Beira, Mozambique, marking the official launch of the Mozambique service - EMS route (EAST AFRICA MOZAMBIQUE SERVICE) of the South African company of COSCO Shipping Holdings, lighting up the new African service network. .

In recent years, as the demand for mineral resources has continued to increase, COSCO Shipping Holdings has actively paid attention to the industrial layout of its customers and successfully opened EMS branch services for customers. The launch of this new route provides hinterland customers in southern Africa with a more stable and faster maritime logistics channel option for exporting goods. The route has a density of 14 days per flight and provides branch line services to Mozambique via Mombasa, Kenya. The order of port calls is: Mombasa-Beira-Maputo-Nacala-Mombasa.

This feeder service not only covers the three main ports of Mozambique: Beira, Maputo and Nacala, but can also radiate to landlocked countries such as Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, exporting minerals, timber, agricultural products, etc. in Southern Africa.
