Several shipping companies announced adjustments to Asia-Africa routes, effective next month

On November 13, CMA CGM announced that it would revamp routes between Asia and West and South Africa starting from the first week of December.

CMA CGM said its WAX routes will focus on Nigeria, Ghana and the Côte d'Ivoire, while WAX3 routes will continue to serve Togo and Nigeria. In addition, the Shaka route will provide transshipment services to Cape Town via Port Louis.

The Marseille-based shipping company said it will provide direct services from northern, central and southern China to West Africa's largest markets Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire and Cameroon through the updated route service.
