Key Policy Highlights
On June 1, 2025, the President of Angola signed a new regulation:
All import activities involving vehicles (including complete vehicles, special-purpose vehicles, and related business scenarios) must first obtain an import authorization permit issued by ANTT (Agência Nacional dos Transportes Terrestres - National Land Transport Agency of Angola) before proceeding with ARCCLA and CNCA (Conselho Nacional de Carregadores de Angola - National Shippers Council of Angola) applications.
⚠ If vehicle-related items are declared in the DU (customs clearance documents) but the ANTT permit is not obtained, the subsequent customs clearance and certification processes may be blocked, delayed, or penalized.
Impact on Business Operations
