African countries accelerate their exploration of independent development paths

The African continent has leveraged the "One Belt and One Road" initiative to achieve development in many fields such as transportation and energy, allowing African people to enjoy development dividends. Costantinos Berhutesfa, a professor at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia, said that China’s continued opening to the outside world and the continuous improvement in the scale and quality of opening up have promoted the rapid growth of Africa-China trade. China's high-level opening up "will inject more forward momentum into Africa and help Africa embark on the path of independent development."
